The BVRI catalogue of Magnier et al. (1992) contains 361,281 objects within a ~1 square degree region centered on the core of M31. We have performed deep BVI CCD photometry on ~0.7 square degrees of the outer regions to extend the coverage to the entire disk of M31. Data from the two sets of observations were merged into one photometric system, and absolute calibration to the Johnson system was performed. The extended catalogue contains 485,425 objects with typical completeness limits of BVRI=(20.7, 21.7, 20.2, 20.5). Photometric and astrometric accuracies are ~4% at V=19.5, and ~0.8", respectively.
