We have carried out interplanetary-scintillation observations of a
sample of compact symmetric objects. Scintillations were recorded in 3
of 34 observed sources; upper estimates of the compact flux density were
obtained for the remaining sources. The contribution of halos to the
integrated flux densities at low frequencies is considered.
