A spectral analysis is carried out of the lithium resonance line (6707.8 A) in the K4 giant 9 Bootis to determine correlations between other known lithium abundances in K-type giant stars. Theoretical curves for the growth of the Li I resonance doublet in K4 9 Bootis are calculated for a model atmosphere with an effective temperature of 4000 K and gravity of log g = 2.0. Lithium abundances in the star are predicted to be log N(Li) = 2.5 (+ or - .5). The accuracy of the Li abundance is not considered to be very high, but it is still some 1.5 orders of magnitude higher than Li abundance measurements made for any other K-giants.
