Two- and three-wave mode resonances are investigated analytically. Special attention is paid to the problem of shifts and synchronization of pulsation periods involved in these resonance mode iterations. It is shown that synchronization could be realized by mutual period shifts of the modes in stationary oscillation states. Multiple stationary solutions appearing near resonance centres are briefly discussed as part of a study of the stability of the stationary solutions.
