It is pointed out that quasars have been established as possible gamma-ray sources since the detection of 3C 273 inside the COS B error box CG 289 + 64. The detection of QS 0630 + 180 inside CG 195 + 4 by Moffat et al. (1983) represents also a case of a quasar inside the field of a gamma-ray source. The present investigation is concerned with the possibility that QS 0630 + 180 is the first discovered proton quasar, taking into account the existence of a relatively strong emission line at a rest frame wavelength of 2065 + or - 5 A. It is thought that this emission line is due to B III. Baldwin et al. (1977) predicted that in cases of an existence of large fluxes of protons with sufficient energy in QSOs boron would be present. The considered emission line provides, therefore, a second strong indication, after gamma-ray emission, that QS 0630 + 180 is the first discovered proton quasar.
