We have carried out a study to identify NIR counterparts to Chandra X-ray sources in the Galactic Center region. We used H-band images collected at the Brazilian national facility for astrophysics as well as 2MASS data for this. For the suggested counterparts with observations in more than one occasion, we investigate the likelihood of intrinsic variability.
