We present new analysis of X-ray observations of the broad-line radio galaxy 3C 120. Monitored with the RXTE observatory for a period of roughly three years, this source was seen to be highly variable at X-ray wavelengths. Previous variability analysis has shown the power spectrum to be best represented by a steep power law at high temporal frequencies, with a break at a timescale of roughly 9 days. We present here for the first time results from Monte Carlo simulations of the power spectrum, and provide fresh analysis of the X-ray variability of this unique object, along with connections between AGNs and X-ray binaries.
