Possibilities of post-detection processing of astronomical images by
coherent optics methods are demonstrated for Jupiter's images as an
example. Procedures of initial image recording and its further linear
filtering are worked out permitting angular resolution to be doubled.
Photometric scans of the initial and processed images are presented.
