Eclipse circumstances have been computed for the Pluto-Charon system, detailing the variations to be expected in the photometric light curve during the eclipse series soon to begin. These calculations, together with observational data from McDonald Observatory, suffice to refute the published claim that two eclipse events were observed in 1981. These same data show that the eclipse series had not yet started at the beginning of 1983.
