We have undertaken a CCD survey of the environments of all galactic Wolf-Rayet stars in the catalog of van der Hucht et al. (1981). Previous surveys used only existing broad-band photographic plates. Encouraged by successes using CCD imaging with interference filters of the LMC (Dopita et al. 1993) and northern galaxy (Miller & Chu 1993), we have expanded our survey to the southern hemisphere. Here, Hα and [OIII] narrow-band CCD images of fields centered on known Wolf-Rayet stars have indicated the existence of a number of possible new ring nebulae, as well as revealing previously unobserved morphological features in known ring nebulae. An example of this is an almost perfect ring of [OIII] emission residing interior to the previously observed Hα filaments of the Wolf-Rayet ring nebula RCW104. Here we present images of the new ring nebulae, summarize the results of the survey so far, and comment on the possible mechanisms for the production of ring nebulae. Support for this project was provided in part by grant C-3054 from the Research Corporation. References: Dopita, M.A. et al. 1993, in preparation.
