The limitation of the field of view for three different types of interferometric imaging telescope arrays is examined, and means for its optimization are identified. The array types are the compact monolithic, thin monolithic, and nonmonolithic (individual telescopes). Attention is given to the optical path of two elements of the nonmonolithic array type for the case of an on-axis star.
