The wavelength and phase-angle dependence of the positive polarization of 100 sections of the lunar surface is studied in more detail than in previous studies (nine regions of the spectrum from 0.419 to 0.783 microns). The degree of polarization is greater for the mare than for the craters and continental regions at all phase angles. This difference is more apparent in the short-wavelength portion than in the long-wavelength portion. A shift in the phase angle of maximum polar-craters is observed. The maximum polarization in integrated light and at the various wavelengths occurs at the same point (which depends on the object) between phase angles of + or - 100-105 deg. No deviation in the position of the plane of positive polarization from its standard direction is observed in either integrated light or at the individual wavelengths.
