The authors report astrometric measurements for the radio image of the SW radio hotspot of 3C 33 and compare them with new astrometric measurements for both red (6650 Å) and blue (4400 - 4950 Å) optical images. The brightest peaks in the radio and red optical images are coincident to within the measurement errors. However, the bluer optical features appear to be aligned but not congruent with the ridge of the radio hotspot emission. This suggests a similar origin for the radio and red optical radiation but a dissimilar one for the blue optical radiation.
