Infrared maps made by IRAS of a part of the R CrA molecular cloud are presented. The data show extended warm dust of 400K around the star HR 7129. There are only two likely heating sources: the star HR 7129 and the interstellar radiation field. Both heating sources are unable to explain this high colour temperature by normal equilibrium processes. A possible explanation of the warm 12 and 25 micron radiation can be found in the emission of very small grains, which are transiently heated to very high temperatures. This model would imply that a large amount of mass is hidden in small graphite grains.
