Results of measurements of solar wind velocity are presented for heliocentric distances between 3 and 80 solar radii. It is shown that, as the distance increases from 8 to 20 solar radii, the velocity increases from 40 km/s to 250 km/s and the power increases from 10 to the 18th to 3 x 10 to the 19th W. It is confirmed that the solar wind velocity becomes supersonic in this region.
