The effects of shear flow on the spectra of photons are studied. The derivation of a radiative diffusion equation for moving sheared gas flows is presented. The equation is applied to a one-dimensional flow in z-direction sheared in r-direction of a planar geometry. It is noted that the viscosity parameter influences the dynamics of sheared gas flows and shear flows have an effect on the spectra of the photons.
