Within the work on the Fifth Fundamental Catalogue (FK5), new highly accurate proper motions have been obtained for 44 Hyades members brighter than apparent magnitude about 7.5. From these proper motions, the convergence point was derived. Individual distances and velocities were determined using the mean cluster radial velocity of 39.1 km/s as determined by Detweiler et al. (1984). The results are given in galactic coordinates.
