We have developed a method adapted to the reconstruction of dynamical surface structures with known temporal behaviour. Nonradially pulsating components of eclipsing binaries are genuine samples of such time dependent features and we present test reconstructions of the modulation patterns in a simulated binary system of this kind. This technique allows a pure geometric approach to the mode identification and may allow a deeper analysis of these systems as compared to single pulsating stars.
