We review our current knowledge of the disk-jet coupling in neutron star X-ray binaries. We compare neutron star and black hole X-ray binaries, by means of radio and X-ray observations, in order to understand the role played in the production of the jet, by characteristics proper of the accreting compact object involved: the existence of a solid surface, the presence of an ergosphere/event horizon, the strength of the magnetic field, the spin of the compact object.
