The occultation of solar radio noise and bursts at 375 MHz by the Moon
was observed using a 9.15 m (30-foot) diameter dish aerial located near
Cranleigh, Surrey, during a partial solar eclipse. These observations
have been used to relate the positions of the solar radio sources to the
visual sunspots.
