Meteor Showers: Quadrantids

Scientific paper

An analysis is carried out of visual and photographic aspects of the Quadrantid meteor stream in 1992. A maximum Zenithal Hourly Rate (ZHR) of 129=B110 was recorded at 1992 January 4.2 (solar longitude 283.18 deg), perhaps a slight increase on the values observed in recent years. A position for the photographic radiant of RA 230.8 deg, Dec +50 deg (2000.00) was determined, with the radiation area approximately 3 deg in extent.
