Scientific paper

A new series of measurements of the Zeeman splitting of 21-cm spectral
lines has revealed strong (> 10-5 G) magnetic field
effects in several neutral hydrogen clouds in the direction of HII
regions. Low limits have been set to the line-of-sight field components
in six other regions of space.
