Changes in orbital eccentricities during the evolution of disks containing a large number (˜ 106 - 1012) of planetesimals are studied. These studies were carried out on the basis of computer simulation results obtained for the evolution of disks initially consisting of hundreds of bodies which moved around the sun. It is shown that the Safronov parameter theta can change substantially during the evolution. The mass of bodies ejected into hyperbolic orbits from the zones of the giant planets could exceed the mass of the solid material incorporated into the planets by an order of magnitude.
