Nine new times of light maximum are given for SZ Lyn and the time base of observations is herewith extended to 26 years. 154 light maxima have been used to calculate the orbital elements and the secular change in the period of the pulsating component. The results provided here support the post-main sequence, high mass hypothesis for the evolutionary state of this dwarf cepheid.
