On the basis of photographic multicolour observations of Y Ori made in 1969 - 1983 the following results are obtained: the period of the Y Ori star light variations is P = 270d.5±0d.2. The colour (U-B) of the Y Ori radiation is very blue ((U-B) < 0), before and after the minimum light, while near the maximum it is very red: (U-B) = +1m.4. The limits of light variations of Y Ori in UBVRI bands of the spectrum are determined and the photographic light curve is constructed. A nebulosity around Y Ori is discovered near the maximum of brightness in red light.
