The HIDES has enabled us to make systematic observations of variable stars with smaller amplitudes, including nonradially pulsating variable stars in particular. In this article, we briefly summarize such pulsating stars, and then introduce our observations with HIDES on the new class of pulsating stars, SPB (Slowly Pulsating B stars). We also mention our challenges to detect tiny oscillations in solar-type stars with the iodine cell toward their asteroseismological study.
