Accurate oscillator strengths and transition probabilities for allowed and intercombination lines of the 3s23p2-3s3p3, 3s23p2-3s23p3d, 3s23p2-3s23p4s, 3s23p2-3s23p5s, 3s23p2-3s23p4d, 3s3p3-3s23p4p, and 3s23p4s-3s23p4p multiplets in P II are calculated by using nonorthogonal orbitals technique in the multiconfiguration Hartree-Fock method. The relativistic corrections are included through the Breit-Pauli Hamiltonian. The wave functions exhibit large correlation corrections and term dependence of valence orbitals. Progressively larger calculations are performed to check for significant electron correlation contributions. The length and velocity forms of oscillator strength show good agreement for most transitions in our final calculation. The calculated branching ratio for the 5So2-3P2,1 intercombination lines is in agreement with the experiment and other elaborate calculations.
