Observations of spiral galaxies with a 100-m reflector at wavelengths of 1 and 10 cm are examined. Nonthermal synchrotron and thermal radiation from several spiral galaxies were analyzed to discover the emission rate of electrons. Radio emission from the galaxies M31 and M33 are studied as well as that for the entire Milky Way. The relative intensity of radio-frequency emission was examined by individually observing the radio luminosity of the nuclear components, spiral arms, halos, and discrete sources. It was determined that the activity of the nucleus of a spiral galaxy has a great effect on the galactic radio emission and correlations were found between (1) radio emission and luminosity, (2) thermal radiation and H-alpha emission, and (3) the continuum of the galactic bulge and the total neutral H mass.
