The paper describes the interactive procedure for spectrogram processing ELSPEC/2, implemented on the DEC PDP11/45 computer system of Trieste Astronomical Observatory on the basis of the procedure ELSPEC/1. The procedure inputs spectrograms (not echellograms) digitized on a PDS 1010A microdensitometer, and outputs spectra linear in intensity normalized to continuum, with optional filtering and radial velocity analysis.
