A method is proposed for the study of systems consisting of massive bodies moving among lighter particles. The method involves tracking of the trajectories of a comparatively small number of bodies for a long period of time and determining various characteristics by means of averaging. The interaction between the massive binary and the surrounding system is investigated by solving the restricted circular three-body problem. It is found that, in the present model, the lighter particles accumulate in the vicinity of the binary.
