A hydrodynamical model is developed for the basic steady state of
finite-thickness disk galaxies. Solutions in zeroth and first orders of
approximation are obtained in terms of the small parameter epsilon -
delta/R. Results may be used to study three-dimensional density wave
theory for disk galaxies.
