In the context of the theory advanced by Vauclair to explain the Am star phenomenum, two additional effects are briefly discussed. These are the choking of the meridional circulation near the stellar surface by the gradient of molecular weight produced by the downward diffusion of helium; and the enhanced value of the rotationally driven circulation found in 2nd order theory.
