A systematic study is made of the long-period evolution of all distant satellite orbits in the system of Jupiter. We determine the extreme eccentricities and inclinations, as well as the circulation periods of the pericenter arguments and of the longitudes of the nodes. Moreover, we perform a comparative analysis of the research methods employed—analytical, numerical, and numerical—analytical methods.
