The velocity field of O-M stars has been studied for the 95° - 145° galactic longitudes sector. It has been found that the residual radial velocity ΔV is a function of distance and galactic longitude and has a minimum. Assuming that this minimum is a result of stellar motion in a density wave and taking into account its position it is possible to calculate the distance of the arm in the galactic plane. Location of the inner edge of the Perseus arm with respect to the sun has been obtained.
