H-alpha spectra for five binary systems Epsilon Aur, Zeta Aur, 31 Cyg, 32 Cyg and 22 Vul, were obtained using a 1 m refractor coude spectrograph and a 2.1 coude Reticon. After reduction, the equivalent widths and radial velocities of the H-alpha line are obtained. Short time scale variations in the H-alpha emission were shown in Epsilon Aur. The profiles of 31 Cyg and 32 Cyg were found to be very similar.
