On the basis of a statistical analysis of daily maps of the northern hemisphere for the period 1880 - 1974 it is shown that in winter during the entering of the earth into a corpuscular stream in the zone of moderate latitudes 45° - 70° we observe significant changes of intensity of meridional circulation. In the oceanic regions the meridional circulation grows, while inside the continents it weakens.
