The radio spectrum of the globular cluster source M3 A has been modelled to test the interpretation that it might be a planetary nebula in the globular cluster. In addition, a possible optical counterpart has been identified from the Palomar Sky Survey prints. The authors conclude that this source is not a cluster member, but is a non-thermal background extragalactic object.
