Solar Activity Cycles: Radio Observations
Scientific paper
In view of the frequency installation of radiospectrographs at Yunnan Observatory, the following radio subjects of observations and studies are suggested for the maximum phase of solar cycle 23: (1) The study on releasing course of initial energy of proton flares and particle acceleration. (2) The research of coronal mass ejection by observations of type IV burst ranging from microwave up to decimetre wave bands. (3) The study of radio fast fine structures and microflares. (4) The diagnostic methods of coronal magnetic fields by radio spectral observations to deduce magnetic topology. (5) The study of radio indication of catastrophic solar events to supply solar activity and alarm of solar-terrestrial environment.
