Spectrophotometry is presented for 30 Seyfert 1 galaxies from list 1 of the Calan-Tololo survey (Maza et al., 1989). A number of the galaxies have a very strong UV excess (blue bump). A preliminary analysis is made of the statistical properties of this new sample of Seyfert galaxies. The mean redshift is 0.089 and the median 0.063. Line ratios for the most prominent lines from 3500 7000 A are presented. FWHM and FWZI for the H-beta lines are also given.
