Some aspects of vector inflation have been studied, especially that of the particle production effects on the slow-roll, phase diagram and anisotropy. It is shown that there is a peak on the phase diagram of the scalar field due to particle production, and the direction of the peak is independent of the initial conditions and mass variation. While as to the case of vector field, the direction of the peak depends on the value of mass. Correspondingly, the anisotropy of the system is promoted or suppressed. The degree of the anisotropy is related not only to slow-roll, but to the particle production process after slow-roll. Both aspects should be taken into account.
