A nucleon-nucleon interaction model is used to calculate fluxes of muons produced from various groups of nuclei. It is assumed that the primary nucleus at the first collision breaks up into nucleons and that in this case for equal energies A times more mesons are released per nucleon than for the case of proton-nucleus interactions. Differential muon fluxes and the charge relations of muon fluxes at sea level are calculated, as are the differential spectra of primary cosmic ray nuclei.
