The age parameter of extensive air showers is computed as the statistical mean parameter of the age of electron photon cascades on the basis of the collimation of secondary particles. Nishimura-Kamata electromagnetic theory is used to gain information about the parameters of the elementary act at high energies and the spectrum of primary cosmic rays.
