The nuclei of NGC 2903, 3504, 4536, 5195, and 5236 have diameters of
150-600 pc at 10 microns. Although the sizes and shapes of the infrared
sources correspond roughly to complexes of hot stars and ionized gas,
the absence of strong thermal radio sources indicates that the infrared
fluxes are not generated by normal low-density H II regions.
