The Huygens GCMS determined the mixing ratio of 36Ar in Titan's atmosphere to be 2.8 x 10-7. It established upper limits of 10-8 on Ne, Kr and Xe (Niemann et al. 2005). We compare these results with observed abundances of noble gases in various natural reservoirs. Such comparisons indicate that the inability to detect Ne, Kr, and Xe is entirely consistent with expectation. Predictions of abundances based on models can then be tested. Two values of D/H have been determined in Titan's atmosphere: 1.17 x 10-4 in CH4 and 2.85 x 10-4 in H2 (Coustenis et al. 2008, Niemann et al. 2008) This apparent conflict can be reconciled either by assuming enrichment in D/H in photochemically produced H2 (from CH4) as part of the photochemical process, or by assuming a different source for the H2. Reasons for supporting the second alternative will be adduced.
