We present the results of a three-year Stromgren uvbybeta photometric study of the recently-discovered multiperiodic delta Sct star HD129231. At least two frequencies are needed to describe the pulsational behaviour of this variable during each observing run. Amplitude variations from season to season are found for some of the pulsation modes. The most relevant physical parameters of this variable are also derived, leading to identifying this object as a hot Population I delta Sct star evolving on its main-sequence stage.
