The photometric characteristics of star formation regions in blue compact dwarf galaxies are considered. Bolometric luminosities, photon fluxes in the Lyman continuum, and the equivalent widths of H-beta emission lines are presented as functions of the age of the star formation region. It is shown that the age of the star formation region is sensitive to the upper limit of the mass of the forming stars.
