The Mars Exploration Rovers Spirit and Opportunity have been exploring and traversing within Gusev Crater and Meridiani Planum, respectively, since landing in January 2004. Both rovers continue to return exciting scientific results, with Spirit concentrating on examining putative volcanic and/or aqueous/hydrothermal materials near Home Plate in the southern basin of the Columbia Hills, and Opportunity concentrating on examining the stratigraphy and composition of aqueously-altered layered materials within Victoria Crater. This presentation will provide an update on the latest scientific results from both rovers.
