Fabry-Perot Hα observations of the superluminous infrared galaxy NGC 6240 have provided the first kinematic evidence that this system comprises at least two merging disks. One of the disks appears to be strongly associated with the main body of the 2 μm continuum; the other disk displays remarkable kinematics and has no obvious counterpart in the continuum.
