New IR photometry of M10 red giant stars is presented, and these data are used to derive the reddening and the distance modulus of the M10 cluster and to locate the red-giant-branch in the theoretical HR diagram. Values obtained for E(B - V) and (m - M)0 are 0.17 + or - 0.05 and 14. + or - 0.2, respectively, assuming that M10 cluster has a metallicity simialr to M3 and M13 clusters and that a standard extintion law can be considered through its galactic direction. These values are derived using two different methods based on multicolor photometry, showing very good agreement.
