An approximate expression for the geodesic precession and nutation is obtained as pg = 1.919 (+ or - 0.004) arcsec/century, Delta g psi = (0.153 sin l prime = 0.002 sin 2l prime) milli-arcsec, and Delta g epsilon = 0, where l prime is the mean anomaly of the earth-moon barycenter. It is pointed out that, if a kinematical nonrotating concept is adopted in defining a reference frame, Delta g psi should be subtracted from the present nutation series.
